I have made a Forum just for the 2GR swaps, right now this is just focusing on MR2's but hopefully it will be more than that one day.

2GR

The Toyota 2GR engine is an open-deck, 3.5 liter V6 piston engine which has been used since 2005. The 2GR engine has a 60° die-cast aluminum block and aluminum DOHC cylinder heads.The engines bore is 94 mm and the stroke is 83 mm. The engine features : 4 valves per cylinder, forged steel connecting rods, one-piece cast camshafts,a cast aluminum lower intake manifold, variable valve timing on both the intake and exhaust cams (also referred to as Dual VVT-i). The valves are driven by roller-follower rocker arms with low friction roller bearings, and a unique, concave cam lobe design to increase valve lift over the traditional shimless lifter type system similar to those in other Toyota engines.The engine is mounted transversely in front wheel drive vehicles offered by the Toyota automobile company. However other applications have been used.
